Our definition of Classical Music. Classical Music is music that sounds like Classical Music. It is just that simple!

There is no need to be intimidated. Classical music was written to entertain people.
All you need to enjoy Classical Music is your hearing…..humming or singing along, or tapping your feet is optional.

Where do we go from here?…..you now know what Classical Music is, and you have all of your equipment….do you want to read long and detailed biographies of famous composers? How about descriptions of the various styles of Classical Music?
Thought not!….but you will be able to read all about these subjects, and a lot more on these pages if you want to.

The ideal way to start enjoying Classical Music is to listen to collections (compilations) of the most melodic pieces, or you could make you own compilation for your iPod.
I just noticed on iTunes a very nice collection entitled "The Most Relaxing Classical Music in the Universe". You can listen to the samples and buy just the selections that you like. Remember, just because they say that such and such collection is The Most Beautiful, or The Best of doesn't actually make it so.

Without a doubt, the most beautiful selections of Classical Music are the ones that you decide are the most beautiful.
